Several Performance Architects team members are attending the COLLABORATE 13 trade show this week (a technical and applications forum for the Oracle community hosted by three of Oracle’s most influential user communities: OAUG. IOUG, and Quest).
For those of us in the Oracle EPM (Hyperion) community, the early buzz at the show is all about the impending 184.108.40.206 release (we hear that it’s coming out extremely soon!). Even though this isn’t a major release on the scale of 220.127.116.11, we’re still very excited about the following new features and functionality (obviously a subset of everything Oracle will be announcing in the official release):
We are also extremely encouraged about Oracle’s remarks at the conference so far related to the company’s continued shift towards additional cloud-based offerings for Hyperion such as the Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service, as well as the future integration of Endeca into Oracle’s Business Analytics offerings in order to provide access to diverse data sets for enhanced and more predictive analytics.
Are you attending COLLABORATE 13? Visit the Performance Architects team at Booth #1644 (or comment here) to continue the conversation!
